Announcement of disciplinary decision:
The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia hereby gives notice that as a result of a complaint and pursuant to the Medical Act, Dr. Trevor Locke has accepted two reprimands and restrictions on his licence to practise issued by the College. View further decision details
- A notice of prescribing restrictions to be posted in the office practice waiting room in a place visible to all patients, at all times while holding a licence to practise medicine.
- For all office based family practice patients - prohibited from prescribing all opiods and narcotics, including combination medications containing opiods
- For all office based family practice patients - prohibited from prescribing all cannabinoids, including both dried herbal marijuana for medical purposes and prescription cannabinoids
