    Further to a Settlement Agreement approved by a Hearing Committee of the College on September 30, 2016, and in accordance with section 51 of the Nova Scotia Medical Act the licence of Dr. Robert Wadden of Halifax, NS has been suspended for four weeks commencing October 11, 2016 and continuing to and including November 7, 2016.   • Announcement of disciplinary decision:

    A Hearing Committee of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia has accepted a Settlement Agreement advanced by the College and Dr. Robert Wadden and recommended by an Investigation Committee of the College pursuant to section 101 of the regulations under the Medical Act. Dr. Wadden has admitted professional misconduct and has consented to a 6 month period of suspension, a reprimand and conditions on his licence to practice medicine. The suspension will be served in two 3 month intervals, both of which must be concluded no later than May 30, 2016. View further decision details
  • Has undertaken to cease treatment of female pattern hairs loss in Nova Scotia.
  • Must post a sign prominently in the waiting room & any examination room where female patients are seen advising that an attendant must be present when seeing female patients. The location of the sign must be approved by the College.
  • Attendant must accompany physician for all female patients.
